At the World Exhibition of Tomorrow, a dapper man with a mustache strides onto the stage, gripping a large microphone as five top-hatted women in tights stand behind him. A fan in the crowd shouts, “I love you, Howard!”

Howard Stark flashes a charismatic grin. “Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won’t even have to touch the ground at all? Yes. Thanks, Mandy. With Stark Gravitic Reversion Technology, you’ll be able to do just that.”

A buzzing hum fills the air, and the wheelless 1940s automobile on stage rises, hovering briefly. Bucky Barnes, watching from the crowd, mutters, “Holy cow.”

A sudden flash and shower of sparks erupt, and the car crashes back onto the stage with a thud. Stark, unfazed, chuckles into the microphone. “I did say a few years, didn’t I?”
