In the snowy mountain pass, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes peer down from a rocky ledge, eyeing the railway tracks far below. A taut cable stretches into the distance, glinting faintly in the overcast light.

Bucky glances at Steve, a wry smile forming. “Remember when I made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?”

“Yeah, and I threw up?” Steve replies, his tone light.

“This isn’t payback, is it?” Bucky asks, half-serious.

Steve grins, adjusting his shield. “Now why would I do that?”

Nearby, Jim Morita and Gabe Jones huddle over a short-wave radio. Gabe looks up, calling to Steve. “We were right. Dr. Zola’s on the train. Hydra dispatcher gave him permission to open up the throttle. Wherever he’s going, they must need him bad.”

Steve pulls on his helmet, his expression hardening. Falsworth, scanning the horizon with binoculars, spots Zola’s train approaching. “Let’s get going, because they’re moving like the devil,” he says.

Steve hooks a handle onto the zip line. “We only got about a 10-second window. You miss that window, we’re bugs on a windshield.”

“Mind the gap,” Falsworth quips.

Dugan chimes in, “Better get movin’, bugs!”

Dernier, stopwatch in hand, shouts, “Maintenant!”

Steve slides down the zip line, with Bucky and Gabe close behind. They match the train’s speed, dropping onto its roof with precise thuds, the wind howling around them.
