The scene dissolves to the Arctic Sea at sunset, where the massive Valkyrie sinks beneath the ice, its dark form swallowed by the frozen expanse.

The view shifts to V-E Day in London’s Trafalgar Square. Spitfires and Hurricanes roar overhead, their wings glinting in the sunlight. Below, men and women embrace in a jubilant crowd, triumphant music swelling as the war in Europe ends in victory.
