Brandt frowns. \u201cThen who is?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHydra,\u201d Phillips says, his voice grim. \u201cI\u2019m sure you\u2019ve been reading our briefings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brandt bristles. \u201cI\u2019m on a number of committees, Colonel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Peggy steps forward. \u201cHydra is the Nazi deep-science division. It\u2019s led by Johann Schmidt. But he has much bigger ambitions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phillips nods. \u201cHydra is practically a cult. They worship Schmidt. They think he\u2019s invincible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brandt presses, \u201cSo, what are you going to do about it?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phillips\u2019 jaw tightens. \u201cI spoke to the President this morning. As of today, the SSR is being retasked.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
